Elsa Chi Abruzzo, RAC, FRAPS, is the CEO and President of Anuncia Medical (Scottsdale, AZ) and an angel investor. Under her leadership, Anuncia has earned numerous recognitions - including AZBio Fast Lane, Flint Foundation funding, ASU-Mayo MedTech Accelerator, and honors from MDDI and Fast Company - for its groundbreaking ReFlow Mini System and mission to improve outcomes for patients with hydrocephalus, especially in underserved communities.
In addition, Elsa is a medical device executive, entrepreneur, and a founding member of Alcyone LifeSciences, Arthromeda, Inc., and Cygnus Regulatory with a 35+ year successful product development, manufacturing, regulatory, quality, and clinical record of accomplishment in medical devices. Cygnus Regulatory, her consulting firm, specializes in regulatory and clinical strategy, execution, and due diligence.
Elsa successfully led teams at various start-ups, bringing many disruptive medical solutions to market. She authored or contributed to 4 granted US FDA Breakthrough Devices Designations. Ms. Abruzzo held leadership roles at Cordis JNJ, CryoLife, Percutaneous Valve Technologies (acquired by Edwards Lifesciences), AtriCure (IPO), Sapheon (acquired by Covidien/Medtronic), and PTS Diagnostics (acquired by Sinocare). Ms. Abruzzo has a B.S. in engineering, is regulatory affairs certified, and is a Fellow of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society.

Meet our CFO, Darryl S. Baker, CPA
Darryl S. Baker is a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of experience in public accounting, corporate finance, and operational leadership for entrepreneurial and publicly funded start-up companies. His expertise spans IPO readiness, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Darryl has held key leadership roles in small to medium-sized ventures and is recognized for guiding companies through complex financial landscapes and high-growth transitions. In addition to his executive work, he is an active investor and strategic advisor to early-stage ventures. He currently serves on the board of managers for NeoLight LLC and on the Advisory Board of The CFO Leadership Council (Phoenix Chapter).
He holds a BS in Accountancy from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Arizona (current) and California (inactive).
